Since 2015, I’ve been livestreaming a unique rooftop view of the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona. Through www.sagradafamilia.tv, people from around the world tune in daily to enjoy this incredible, ever-evolving view—whether to witness the ongoing construction, admire the skyline, or simply feel connected to this iconic place.
Over the years, I’ve also built a continuous timelapse archive that shows the basilica’s transformation in real-time—a rare visual record of history in the making.
But running this webcam isn’t free, and now that I no longer live in Barcelona, the monthly cost has become too much to handle alone. Hosting, connectivity, maintenance, and remote access total €81.85 per month, or €982.25 per year.
If I can’t raise this amount, I’ll unfortunately have to shut the stream down.
If this camera has brought you joy, inspiration, or a moment of peace, please consider contributing to help keep it going.

Thunderstorms at Sagrada Familia
Sometimes the weather in Barcelona is not as sunny. Check this video I made in the middle of the night during a thunderstorm!
Back up again
And we’re back up again. Hope it stays that way for a long time. Like 10 years or so …
Camera is broken
Well, there seems to be something completely wrong with the cam. It is not responding. We’ll have to order and install another one. Sorry!
Site live!
First post. Site live. Cam on. Now we’ll focus on details, like attach the cam and point it to the Sagrada Familia 🙂
